Women’s Councils: Earth Restoration
Women’s Councils at Owl’s Nest in Port Hope focus on developing the deep-listening and observational skills essential to communing with Nature. Though we include some elements from women’s circles such as meditation, spontaneous movement and ritual, much of our time is spent outdoors — in the woods, at Lake Ontario and on trails beside the Ganaraska River (all minutes from Owl’s Nest.)
The Council gatherings provide vital skills for earth restoration, both within our body-souls and the land. We do this by consciously opening to the natural world and enlivening the space between our human consciousness and Nature. Reciprocity is central to this work. As we open to receive the earth’s living language, we are nourished. When any element of the natural world is received with attentive compassion, the web of creation is strengthened.
Dates for the four Earth Restoration gatherings are: Saturday, May 25, June 22, July 20, August 24th from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Attendance at one of my previous gatherings or webinars is a prerequisite for these Earth Councils. The gatherings are limited to 8 women per session. The $100 fee includes a vegetarian lunch.
