Intuition, Instinct and Imagination 2023: Cultivating Inner Guidance

 As our world grows increasingly polluted with misinformation, dangerous divisiveness, and fearful uncertainty, it is vital that we are able to access our ‘still small voice’ and trust our gut and for wise and timely guidance. Listening to our intuition is not taught or even encouraged in school, and though we many develop some self-awareness along the way, learning through experience is often haphazard and unreliable. More than ever, the cultivation of our intuition and wise instincts is essential—not just for self-protection, but for us to creatively participate in a grounded heart-centred way, with everything that is evolving in and around us.

Co-creating sacred space together is the first step. Within that safe space, we can shed old habits and patterns that may be blocking our intuition and creativity, and open to the physical sensation of connecting to Life’s flow. Profound change can occur in these settings, as we dare to express ourselves from a sense of wholeness rather than retreat into familiar patterns of neediness or self-doubt. As we cultivate our own deep listening with an open heart, gentle curiosity and compassionate self-love, we are able to witness others with love. Gradually these innate qualities of generosity infuse all our relations — with people, creatures and the Earth. This is the truly transformative nature of this work — restoring what it means to be fully human!

During the six-month course we will explore a wide variety of intuitive techniques and various forms of creative ‘play’ to engage our creative imaginations. We will also experiment with Wild Animal Prayers (an original practice involving spontaneous movement and sound) to engage and enliven our instincts. Part of the time will be spent working in small groups, both in breakout rooms in the zoom meetings and in small pods between the large-group gatherings. These more intimate experiences will encourage us to witness and support the fluid expression of each other’s inner gold.

These are some elements of the ever-evolving curriculum:

• Ways to self-test (using a pendulum and/or muscle-testing for binary, yes/no information)
• Ethical etiquette for binary testing, including how to form the ‘right’ question
• Honouring the wisdom of ‘not knowing’ as an integral part of the intuitive process
• Safe and co-creatively constructive protocols for working with guides in the imaginal realm
• How to do energy-scans in a loving, boundaried way
• Developing discernment about when and how to share intuitive information
• Working with divinatory resources such as the I Ching, Runes, Tarot and the Raven Essence definitions 
• Cultivating the felt-sense of one’s personal truth while being witnessed in a safe, sacred space
• Exploring artistic creativity to stimulate imagination and intuitive insights
• Cultivating communion with Nature as a living language.

Recommended reading list and additional resources will be provided throughout the course, both through email and Slack (an application that allows us to share images, music, and words.)

Cost: $500 (CDN) includes two personal consultations, a Mobilization of your Inner Gold session and an in-depth Intuitive Consultation during the 8 month cycle. (Value of these two consultations is $265). A payment plan for the course is optional.
