Creating and working with your personal Raven Essence Story
Each Raven Essence story is a mirror, witnessing both the mythic dimensions and the timely evolution of your ‘inner gold.’ Over three hour-long sessions, we explore how your personalized essence story offers unique ways to view your soul-gifts, life challenges and creative opportunities. The overall experience operates more like a colourful kaleidoscope than a linear road map, while also supporting a deepening resonance with Nature’s energies.
During the initial hour-long consultation, we will discuss where you are in your life before co-creating a focused intention. I will then dowse for the resonant essences and organize the storyline by creating a graph with additional phrases. Your story, along with guidelines for working with the information, will be emailed to you to reflect on before our next session, approximately one month later.
After you have contemplated the essence story (with any of the recommended guidelines that appeal to you), we will meet again to go into a deeper analysis of the information, discussing any issues and/or opportunities that may be arising in your life.
While your intention remains constant throughout this process, each time you review the essence-story you will have fresh insights into your situation and sense creative possibilities — within yourself, your relationships, and your external environment.
In the final session, we will review the entire process and conclude by gazing into the future together from this new stance — your rooted presence in sync with Nature’s wisdom.
A Brief History – How the Raven Essence Stories Evolved
The Raven Essence stories carry nuggets of Nature’s wisdom accessed from deep intuitive listening to the plants in my garden. Shortly after initiating the project in 1995, I began making specialized combinations for my clients, dowsing for which essences they needed around a specific intention.
Sensing there was more to the combinations than a mere blend of essences, I speculated that each combination continued a hidden story about the person’s unique situation. To decode this information, I created a graph based on the number of drops of each essence, then selected an additional numerology phrase for each layer of the graph. Passionate about unearthing Nature’s complex stories, I created hundreds of combinations to address a wide variety of issues and themes.
In the fall of 2025, thirty years after making the first flower essence, I dispersed all 350 of them back onto the land. Meanwhile, Nature’s stories keep speaking…
