1. Come What May, May What Come Restore the Sacred

I was doing some deep listening in an area of my property calling the ‘future-visioning site’ in the spring of 2020, near the start of the global pandemic, when I heard this phrase: Come What May, May What Come Restore the Sacred. The gravitas of the message compelled me to make this combination essence.

We are in a liminal time, a delicately potent time-between times. No longer the caterpillar gobbling the earth’s resources, we are not yet the butterfly, with beautiful gossamer wings. During this stormy cycle, it is wise to be ruthless about self-care, at every level. Our nervous systems and hearts are stressed with old traumas resurfacing and new pressures taxing our resilience. In this prolonged isolation, we are poignantly aware of the reality of our interconnectedness, with other human beings and with all creation. Struggling to find our ‘sea-legs’ as everything familiar shifts beneath us, we cannot see a safe, new shore ahead.

How do we loosen our identities and sense of security with what we thought was ‘normal’ life? How do we build sanctuary for ourselves and our loved ones when we cannot reach out and touch them? Even though we knew great change was needed in our world, when chaos impacts us personally, can we relax and access the power of love? How do we trust and open to Life when everything feels frightfully unpredictable?  How do we find solace in the deeper realms of Being?

This global pause provides time and space for us to reflect upon all our relationships—with our bodies and souls, our loved ones, and particularly with the plants, animals and the ravaged earth. In this precious eye-of-the-needle moment, each relationship can be carefully reviewed and rekindled, with Love as the guiding impulse. Life is in command now, not our egos or our brilliant minds. Destiny, not willpower is shaping us to become co-creators in an emerging new reality. Come what may, may we dwell with humble vulnerability, willing to shed the old and to be shaped by the new.

Come What May offers support for rooted resilience, the essential ground for cultivating a calm and peaceful inner sanctuary. The essence helps us relax into a rhythm that is in sync with the earth and harmonious with our body-souls. Opening our hearts to the imaginal realm, we experience a greater sense of inner freedom along with a flow of energies, ideas and creative possibilities. Come What May is an antidote to depressive tendencies and old habit patterns that regress us into fear-based reactions and toxic addictions. At the personal level, restoring the sacred is a healing balm to the World Soul. Used in resonant agreement with others, Come What May amplifies emergent earth energies.
