Every negative, evil manifestation we see in the world has some roots in our personal psyche, for we are all part of the collective unconscious. Yet in our day-to-day lives, we tend to project the things we dislike onto others, meanwhile rationalizing and defending our stance of rightness. Facing our Shadows supports us in facing our shadow, our personal demons, rather than repeatedly projecting them onto others. However, before we can look into the jadestone and clearly face our own limitations, we need to feel very safe. The essence provides a protective energy-field in which we can begin to let down our guard and look at the difficult factors in our lives with deep compassion. When we are overly defended and angry at how the world treats us, we have little space for Life’s ever-renewing frequencies to fill our body-souls. The essence encourages us to face what is ours to own, and to let go of the energies that rightly belong to others. As this sorting and clearing proceeds, we renew our ability to receive, and Life greets us with an abundance of creative possibilities.
